This guide explains how administrators can view, approve/reject, edit entries, and generate reports.
Viewing, Approving, or Rejecting Submitted Entries
There are two ways to manage submitted entries from employees:
Option 1:
- Log in to your portal (e.g., yourcompany.instaff.org) as an Administrator.
- From the left-hand menu select Admin > Time Tracking.
3. Click ‘Details’ on each task.
4. Under ‘Awaiting Admin Approval’, check the box beside the Edit button.
5. Click either ‘Approve Selected Entries’ or ‘Reject Selected Entries’.
Option 2:
- Log in to your portal (e.g., yourcompany.instaff.org) as an Administrator.
- From the left-hand menu select Admin > Time Tracking.
3. Go to Reports > Reporting.
4. Apply filters based on your preferences (date range, status, employee, etc.), then click ‘Build Report’.
5. Check the box of the selected entry.
6. In the Status column, click the drop-down menu and choose the new status.
7. Click Save Selected Entries.
Changing the Status of Multiple Entries
1. Select the entries you want to update.
2. Click ‘Change Selected Entries Status’.
3. Choose the new status, then click ‘Change’.
How to Edit Entries
There are two ways to edit employee entries:
Option 1:
- Log in to your portal (e.g., yourcompany.instaff.org) as an Administrator.
- From the left-hand menu select Admin > Time Tracking.
3. Click Details on each task.
4. Under Awaiting Admin Approval, click Edit.
5. Update the necessary information and click ‘Save’.
Note: You can also delete the entry by clicking on ‘Delete Entry’
Option 2:
- Log in to your portal (e.g., yourcompany.instaff.org) as an Administrator.
- From the left-hand menu select Admin > Time Tracking.
3. Go to Reporting > Reports
4. Apply filters (date range, employee, etc.), then click ‘Build Report’.
5. Click Edit on the entry.
6. Update the necessary information and click on ‘Save’.
Note: You can also delete the entry by clicking on ‘Delete Entry’
